A Dog friendly Pub!

We welcome well behaved dogs, but please keep them on their lead.  There is water available and  there are also ‘treats’. Within walking distance of the Pub there are numerous walks, where they can run off the lead and have fun including the Chess Valley were they can have a swim.  It is an area where you will find many like minded, dog loving and dog walking people. Just ask a member of staff for maps and/or details.

The Pub has its own resident dog, Homer!  An eighteen month old rescue Yellow Lab, who thinks thePub and its customers are his personal friends and treats them as such, more so if they have a dog.  Much work has been done by the Tenant and her father for Labrador Retriever Rescue, from whence Homer came.
